Tabasco wanted to regain market share against Frank’s Red Hot by increasing usage as well as get a feeling for where their products were impacting the most. We set out to solve this very unsexy-sounding problem in the sexiest way possible by building a game to harness the enthusiasm of Tabasco’s 500K+ Facebook Wall fans by giving them the chance to compete for prizes by uploading photos and videos, as well as answering polls related to usage. We had modest expectations, but as of this posting, we have around 8,000 citizens actively engaged in the game.

At 72 and Sunny, the creative philosophy was either go big or go home. Just like the larger-than-life personality of Kenny Powers, fictional baseball player and star of HBO’s acclaimed “Eastbound and Down” series. With the Muscle Machine, fans could train the F out with specially crafted exercises and bask in Kenny’s special brand of motivational speaking. The better you performed, the happier it made Kenny. But don’t start slacking…
